Geena B. & Rufus are an internatonal songwriter and artist couple from Neumarkt in the South Tyrol. With their music, they have been known far beyond their national borders for years. Their songs, which they essentially write, record, produce and promote themselves, are mainly about topics such as social ills, deceleration, sustainability and values that cannot be bought. Following the success of their first album, 2021's White Mice, the two artists and hemp entrepreneurs released their second studio album, Echoes From The Fields, in June 2023. This was partly recorded and self-produced at Nomoss Record Studios in Hamburg and in a lost room of a 450 year old house in Italy. The songs have the typical sound of the Raw Americana Folk genre. Delicate harmonies on scratchy background are typical for this sound.
